Stuart Elmes

Trustee

Chair

Stuart Elmes

Stuart recently joined Westbourne Park Baptist Church as the new pastor (1st October 2023).

Originally from South Africa, Stuart moved to the UK in 1999 and worked in hotels and restaurants both in the West End and the City, before being called to ministry at Kingswood Baptist Church, Basildon – where he served for 17 years as pastor. He trained at Spurgeons College and was ordained as a Baptist Minister in October 2010.

Stuart is passionate about growing robust disciples of Jesus who are equipped to make a difference in the world, wherever they may be. He has served as a Trustee and Chair of Trustees for Kingswood Baptist Church, throughout his pastorate there.

Elsie Kusi-Appiah

Treasurer

Elsie Kusi-Appiah

Elsie is a Credit Officer at a private bank in Mayfair – a boutique family owned private bank.

Elsie holds a Bachelor’s (Hons) degree in Business Management and a Masters degree (Msc) in Corporate Finance and Investment. She has a wealth of experience gained through her various roles in the banking sector over the last 15 years. She previously worked for Metro Bank as a Business Manager and a Commercial Credit Analyst and also worked for the Financial Ombudsman Services.

She joined the board of trustees as a Treasurer in 2021. She is actively involved in the financial management and governance of WPFC and is excited to assist with the growth of the family centre.

Rev. Richard Dryer

Christian Distinctiveness

Rev. Richard Dryer

Richard Dryer started as vicar at St Stephen’s Church, Westbourne Park in June 2019 and joined the trustees of the family centre shortly afterwards.

Prior to ordination into the Church of England, Richard worked for 15 years as a portfolio manager, working for Schroders, Credit Suisse and finished his time in finance as Head of Global Credit at Aberdeen Asset Management. He was ordained in 2014 and served a curacy in Wimbledon prior to coming to St Stephen’s.

He is particularly passionate about sharing the gospel with children and young people and previously served as a trustee on a Christian youth Charity.

Iretiola Badamosi

Monitoring and Evaluation

Iretiola Badamosi

Ireti joined the trustees in May 2023, she has been attending WPBC since 2021 and is currently a deacon in the church.

She is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience in welfare to work sector. She excels in monitoring and evaluation of projects, and particularly in setting up effective systems for data collection and analysis. Her analytical approach and strong problem-solving abilities have been key to her success in managing and securing large contracts.

Her diverse skill set spans both technical and socio-economic domains. She demonstrates a profound understanding of the intricacies involved in shaping and delivering impactful community projects. She is dedicated to driving positive change and her unwavering commitment to community development make her an invaluable asset to Westbourne Park Family Centre.

Kenneth Asiedu

Policies and Procedures

Kenneth Asiedu

Ken is an experienced Building Surveyor with over 16 years of expertise in the property sector, specialising in the management of both commercial and residential properties. His journey with Westbourne Park Family Centre commenced in 1994, initially as a service user before transitioning to a volunteer role in 2009.

Driven by his dedication to WPFC’s mission, Ken ascended to the position of Trustee in March 2012. Currently, Ken assumes the crucial role of leading risk management at WPFC, undertaking the comprehensive review and strategic mitigation of potential organizational risks.

With a wealth of first-hand experience spanning decades, his contributions as a Trustee are invaluable to WPFC’s operations. Ken’s evolution from service user to volunteer to Trustee underscores his enduring commitment to WPFC and its objectives .

Paige Aimes

Strategy and Development

Paige Aimes

Paige joined the Trustees in January of 2023 after attending Westbourne Park Baptist Church for 20 years.

She has worked with global corporations for over 35 years; first in America and then here in London. Her speciality is leading projects that facilitate change by engaging with all levels of an organisation from CEO to receptionist to help them transform the way the think, work, behave and use their workspace to help create better collaboration, alignment and community to deliver their objectives. Her previous London clients are Deutsche Bank, The Financial Times, The Times, The Sunday Times, The Sun, Dow Jones, Wall Street Journal, HarperCollins, Times Radio, Talk Radio and Talk Sport.

This past year Paige has worked closely with Geoff and the team to look at what, who and how we do what we do and what tweaks could yield big results. She continues to support Geoff in both strategy, development and new initiatives.

Linda Boateng

Digital and Media

Linda Boateng

Linda joined the Board of Trustees in April 2026. She is a former service user of Westbourne Park Family Centre – attending Club Xpress during her childhood. Linda has attended Westbourne Park Baptist Church since she was a young child, and she serves in different areas of ministry.

Linda is a Graphic Designer with a range of creative skills. She has experience of serving clients in many different sectors including the voluntary sector. Linda brings her digital, media, and creative knowledge to her role as a trustee. She would like to utilise this knowledge to build WPFC’s digital and media presence.

The work of our trustees is fundamental to the running of Westbourne Park Family Centre.
