Westbourne Park Family Centre has supported and served local families for over 20 years
We welcome everyone from all walks of life, backgrounds and beliefs, providing an informal environment where children can play, learn, make friends, and gain a sense of belonging.
Our History
Westbourne Park Family Centre was founded in 2003 by Westbourne Park Baptist Church as a charity with a clear mission:
To Support and Strengthen families in the local area, especially those on low incomes.
The Church itself has deep roots in the community, having been established in Westbourne Park in 1877.
Over the years, it has played a pioneering role in local development—launching Paddington’s first further education college, founding a national Building Society, and helping to establish a London-wide housing association in partnership with other churches.
Our Approach
Our work is built on long-term relationships with children and their parents/carers.
We walk alongside families from birth to adulthood, through life’s ups and downs, with the hope of seeing children grow into mature, independent adults who are a positive force in their communities.
We are a Christian-based charity, guided by our core values to THINK:

We never impose our faith, instead we aim to create a welcoming, inclusive environment for families of all backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs.
