Our Impact
The work of Westbourne Park Family Centre is built on long-term relationships with children and their families.
We walk alongside families from birth to adulthood, through life’s ups and downs, with the hope of seeing children grow into mature, independent young adults who are a positive force in their community.

The impact of 1:1 support
At the start of the year a new mum attended Acorns with her son who had speech delay. Both parent and child found it hard to settle in and were having disputes with other parents. Through 1:1 support and advice things quickly changed and at the end of the year mum wrote:
‘I absolutely love coming here with my son. It’s such a welcoming and supportive place where we always feel at home. Staff are so kind and dedicated and the activities are not only so fun but also really beneficial for my son’s development.
It’s wonderful to see him learning and making friends in such a positive environment. We are so grateful- it’s truly a special place’

Our plans for 2025 - 2026
The work of Westbourne Park Family Centre is continuously evolving to meet the needs of the families we work with.
Over the next year we plan to increase our quality and reach through developing a specialism in SEND, targeted training for staff, adopting a new quality assurance mark ‘Trusted Standard’ and improved marketing and outreach.
