Skills for Life Project

Our Skills for Life Project is part of our provision for young people aged 11 – 18.

The programme provides young people with a curriculum for learning and development, and empowers them to develop their leadership skills through training and voluntary service.

The Skills for Life programme is funded by Westminster Brighter Futures.

As part of the programme, young people plan and complete challenges to enable them to develop their  skills in the following areas:

  • Listening
  • Speaking
  • Problem solving
  • Creativity
  • Staying positive
  • Aiming high
  • Leadership
  • Teamwork

By completing challenges during the week and whilst volunteering, young people can earn reward credits which can be spent on an award or trip at the end of each term.

If you would like to apply for the Skills for Life project, please use the link below to complete the application form.

If you have any questions about the Young Leaders Club, or if you need further information, please contact our Young Leader’s Manager Salome.
